Zebra Finches are NOT clean little critters. They make a mess everywhere, and if you are fortunate enough to be a Finch caretaker, you’re in for some work. It’s not too bad – they make up for it in utter cuteness, but we maintain something in the habitat about 3 or 4 times each day. If you don’t have the time for that, you don’t have time to have Finches…
Anyway, one of the joys of keeping Finches is the feeding and watering. They will swarm their food dish as if they haven’t eaten in a week. Here’s a pic:

Zebra Finches love a bath. We use a small dog food bowl, fill it with warm water, and they lose their little minds. Here’s a short video of them having a blast in the tub.
